Honey testing

Pollen testing

Every season, all our batches of honey are pollen tested. The test results tell us the percentage of pollens found in the honey, which helps us determine what we will call each batch, for example, whether the batch is a Linden or Lavender variety.

The pollens are like DNA for the honey. It shows where exactly this honey is coming from and which flowers the bees were visiting.

We also combine the pollen testing with the all-important “quality test”, which is essential for tracing the chemical analyses.

Great Taste UK

Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drinks accreditation scheme.

It is a quick way to get honest, straightforward and impartial feedback from chefs, buyers, food writers and retailers.

We gladly participate every year with a different variety of our honey.
